Calling all superheroes: we will be holding a superhero costume contest at the event, with prizes for the best individual and group costumes. Grab your friends and your cape and come out for a great time!

NOTE: We are thrilled to announce this new event in Frederica using the Women’s Race for the Pink Ribbon 5k event date. That event has moved to Mother’s Day (May 13th), 2018 and has added a 10k to go along with the 5k run walk. Details will be posted in the fall.

Race Time

5:00pm- Registration opens
6:10pm- Pre-race activities begin
6:30pm- 5k Run/Walk start and 1.5 mile non competitive walk start

Entry Info

Entry fee- $25 pre-registration (until the Monday before the race at Noon) / $30 day of event

Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

All proceeds from the Battle on the Turf 5K Run/Walk benefit DBCC’s programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.
