Wilmington Christian School’s annual 5K Run/Walk celebrates the life of Mrs. Connie Dietrich, one of our Physical Education teachers, who lost her battle against cancer in 2002.  Mrs. Dietrich was loved and respected by all.  Her heart’s wish was that all families who desire Christian education for their children be able to afford it.  Proceeds from this event will benefit our Tuition Assistance Fund as well as a donation to the American Cancer Society in Connie’s honor.

Benefits:           The First Tee of Delaware.  Our program positively impacts Delaware youth through golf instruction
                           and life-skills education.  Through this education we teach our youth the importance of an active
                           lifestyle including proper nutrition, and we place the necessary attention on proper decision making
                          techniques that respect our diverse population and give helpful skills to improve patience, respect, and
                          integrity of self and others.
